From industrial building to hotel
Mythic was created through the renovation of a former industrial building in Valencia. The project preserved the existing structure and the building’s industrial aesthetic while incorporating new architectural and design elements to transform it into a hotel.
The transformation involved a range of architecture and design specialists and took more than a year to complete. The result is a space with a personality that is very different from that of a conventional hotel.
Every room has its own personality
The building’s architectural features mean that no two rooms are exactly alike. Mythic offers a range of categories, from Double and Superior rooms to Attic and Deluxe rooms and the Mythic Suite. Each one retains the hotel’s industrial character while incorporating its own distinctive features.
The Attic rooms, for example, stand out for their large windows, vaulted ceilings and wooden floors, while the Mythic Suite offers a different perspective of the space thanks to its elevated position and expansive window.
Art as a starting point
Art was not added as an afterthought: from the very beginning, Mythic was conceived as a place where art would take centre stage. The hotel therefore features two murals by PichiAvo, internationally renowned artists from Valencia—one in the reception area and another in the inner courtyard. These murals transform some of the communal spaces into places that also form part of the guest’s cultural experience.
A location from which to discover Valencia
In addition to its architecture, Mythic has another defining feature: its location. The hotel is situated next to the Turia Gardens and close to the Serranos Towers, with the El Carmen neighbourhood just a few minutes away on foot. This makes it possible to combine a stay in a unique hotel with the opportunity to explore Valencia’s historic centre, urban art and some of its main cultural attractions on foot.
